Lancashire Council | £30-£35 per hour | 5 Days per Week | Interim Contract
A Lancashire-based local authority is looking for an experienced Interim Building Surveyor to support their Housing team on a full-time basis.
The role will focus on carrying out Stock Condition Surveys, HHSRS inspections, and managing Damp & Mould cases across the council's housing stock. You'll be working closely with tenants, contractors, and internal teams to help ensure homes are safe, compliant, and maintained to a high standard.
Key Duties- Stock Condition Surveys across residential properties
- HHSRS assessments and reporting
- Investigation and management of Damp & Mould cases
- Preparing technical reports and recommendations
- Supporting wider housing maintenance and compliance functions
- Experience with in social housing or local authority environments
- Strong knowledge of HHSRS and housing legislation
Ability to work independently across a varied caseload - Full UK driving licence preferred
