General Teaching Assistant

Are you a dedicated and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant looking for your next opportunity in a welcoming primary school? We're looking for a caring and proactive TA to join a supportive school in Bolton, helping pupils to reach their full potential through small group and 1:1 support.

As one of the fastest growing agencies in the UK, Prospero Teaching are looking for a reliable, confident and positive Teaching Assistant to support a local primary school in Bolton. The successful applicant will have experience supporting teaching and learning across KS1 or KS2 and a genuine passion for working with children.

• Location – Bolton
• Position – Teaching Assistant
• Type of work – Classroom support / 1:1 and small group interventions
• Start date – As soon as possible
• Contract type – Temporary
• Full time/part time – Full time
• Minimum rate of pay – 100 – 115 per day
• Hours – 8:30am to 3:30pm

• Level 2 or Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification (desirable)
• Previous experience supporting children in a UK school
• Up to date Safeguarding training issued in the last year (desirable however not essential as some training is provided)

• Hold Right to Work in the UK
• Hold an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service or be willing to process a new application
• Provide two professional references
