Prospero Teaching is looking for a hardworking, SEN Teaching Assistant in a primary school; based in Bolton.
The school is a two‑form primary school with a supportive leadership team and a dynamic, inclusive learning environment committed to academic excellence and student success. We are currently seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Learning Support Assistant to work one‑to‑one with a student and help them thrive in and out of the classroom.
Contract / Position Details- Location: Bolton
- Position: SEN Teaching Assistant
- Type of work: One‑to‑one work with a SEN student, assess student work, lesson plans & activities, help invigilate tests, etc.
- Start date: January 2026
- Duration: 1 term contract (may be extended)
- Contract type: Temporary
- Full‑time/part‑time: Full time
- Hours: 8:30 am – 3.30 pm, Mon – Fri (term time only)
- Minimum 1 year experience as LSA/SEN in KS1 or KS2 (preferred but not required)
- Up‑to‑date safeguarding training issued within the past year
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and organisational skills
- Valid right to work in the UK
- Enhanced child‑barred list DBS and willingness to enrol onto the DBS update service
