Teaching Personnel Lancaster is seeking caring, enthusiastic and dedicated EYFS Teaching Assistants to support a range of welcoming primary schools and nurseries across Lancaster from September.
This rewarding role is perfect for individuals who thrive in Early Years settings and are committed to helping young learners develop confidence, curiosity and a love of learning through play and exploration.
Responsibilities- Support children aged 3-5 within Nursery and Reception settings.
- Assist teachers in delivering engaging and creative learning activities.
- Encourage children's social, emotional and educational development.
- Foster a safe, nurturing and inclusive learning environment.
- Support children on a 1:1 basis and in small groups when required.
- Help monitor progress and celebrate every achievement.
- Experience working with children within an EYFS, nursery or childcare setting.
- A positive, patient and nurturing attitude.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- A genuine passion for supporting children's development.
- Level 2 or 3 qualifications in Childcare, Education or Early Years are desirable but not essential.
- Enhanced DBS on the Update Service or willingness to obtain one.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
