The governors of Caton Primary School are seeking to appoint a Wraparound Care Leader who will be responsible for leading and developing quality play activities for children aged 3 to 11 in a fun, safe and inclusive environment.

  1 September 2026
• Working hours:
  
  15.25 hours per week (covering 3 breakfast clubs and 5 after‑school clubs); optional additional hours
• Position type:
  Term‑time only, part‑time
• Salary:
  Full‑time equivalent, paid on a pro‑rata basis

Lead and develop wraparound care provision, including breakfast and after‑school clubs, ensuring activities meet high standards of safety, engagement and inclusivity. Provide training and support to staff and volunteers. Maintain accurate records and liaise with school leadership.

• Relevant childcare qualification
• Paediatric first aid certificate (desirable)
• Food hygiene certificate (desirable)

• Essential:
  Experience working with or caring for primary‑school aged children.
• Desirable:
  Knowledge of safeguarding requirements; knowledge of the Early Years Foundation Stage.

• DBS disclosure required before appointment.
• Online search as part of due diligence (Keeping Children Safe in Education 2025).
