We are seeking a dynamic Science Teacher to join a secondary school in Lancaster starting in February. This is a long-term position ideal for someone with a strong knowledge of the curriculum, effective communication skills, and a dedication to creating an engaging learning environment.

Day-to-day of the role:

• Deliver engaging and informative Science lessons to students at KS3 and KS4 levels; teaching KS5 is also advantageous but not mandatory.
• Utilise strong subject knowledge to inspire and motivate students.
• Maintain effective classroom management skills.
• Assess, record, and report on the development, progress, and attainment of students.
• Be a positive role model, demonstrating compassion, trustworthiness, politeness, and good listening skills.
• Collaborate with other teaching staff to enhance teaching practices and learning experiences.

Required Skills &

Qualifications:

• Must have QTS (Qualified Teacher Status) or equivalent.
• Recent relevant experience teaching Science at KS3 and KS4 levels; experience at KS5 is beneficial.
