Summary We are seeking a dedicated Part-Time Teaching Assistant to join our friendly team at Lancaster School. This role involves supporting Year 6 students with their SATS interventions, focusing on enhancing their Maths and English skills. The position is ideal for someone who enjoys working in a supportive educational environment and is committed to helping students achieve their best.

• Provide targeted support in Maths and English to Year 6 students to prepare them for their SATS.
• Work closely with the teaching staff to identify areas where students require additional help and tailor interventions accordingly.
• Assist in the creation and delivery of engaging educational activities that enhance learning and retention.
• Monitor and record students' progress, providing feedback to teachers and parents as necessary.
• Maintain a positive and encouraging atmosphere that promotes learning and development.

• Excellent knowledge of Maths and English, ideally with experience in a similar educational support role.
• Ability to engage and inspire young learners.
• Strong communication skills, capable of working effectively with teachers, students, and parents.
• A proactive and patient approach to student learning and development.
• Relevant qualifications in education or a related field are preferred.
