Every day is different. You might be helping a student engage in learning, supporting them through a challenging moment, developing life skills, or celebrating a breakthrough that others may have thought impossible. The progress may be big or small, but every step forward matters.
If you're patient, resilient, and passionate about making a genuine difference, this could be the career opportunity you've been looking for.

Your Attitude Matters as Much as Your Experience You don’t need to have worked in a specialist school before.
You might already work in education, or have transferable experience from care, support work, youth work, coaching, residential care or another people-focused environment.
What matters most is that you have the patience, resilience and commitment to build positive relationships with young people.
