As a Teacher of English in Lancaster
, you will be responsible for delivering engaging and inspiring English lessons, helping pupils develop their literacy, confidence and academic progress.

The ideal Teacher of English will have:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent teaching qualification.
• Strong subject knowledge across English Language and Literature.
• Experience teaching English within a secondary school setting.
• Excellent classroom and behaviour management skills.
• The ability to plan and deliver engaging, challenging and differentiated lessons.
• A commitment to raising attainment and supporting pupil progress.
• The ability to build positive relationships with pupils and colleagues.
• A passion for English and a genuine enthusiasm for inspiring young people.
• Previous experience working in Lancaster or the surrounding Lancashire area would be advantageous.
