? Vision for Education is working on behalf of a well-regarded local secondary school to recruit an enthusiastic Teacher of Maths for a long-term position starting in mid-October 2026

This exciting Teacher of Maths role is based at a supportive secondary school in Lancaster, Lancashire
, and will run for the remainder of the academic year. The successful Teacher of Maths will have strong subject knowledge, high expectations and the ability to deliver engaging Maths lessons that inspire and challenge pupils across the secondary age range.
The role:
- Teacher of Maths position in Lancaster, Lancashire
. - Starting mid-October 2026
. - Temporary, long-term position until the end of the academic year.
- Teaching Maths across the secondary age range.
- Planning and delivering engaging, high-quality lessons.
- Supporting positive behaviour and maintaining high expectations.
- Working collaboratively with the Maths department and wider school team.
Requirements:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification.
- Experience teaching Maths within a UK secondary school.
- Strong Maths subject knowledge.
- Excellent classroom and behaviour management skills.
- Ability to motivate and engage pupils of varying abilities.
- A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
- Relevant references and compliance checks.
