Teaching Assistant

Key-Stage Teacher Supply is currently looking for enthusiastic and dedicated Teaching Assistants to work across a range of Primary Schools across Lancaster and South Cumbria. This opportunity gives you the chance to support children’s learning, development and well-being in a variety of different school settings and classroom environments.

Key Responsibilities:

* Provide in-class support to teachers and pupils across all years in Primary Schools

* Work with small groups and 1:1 to reinforce learning and offer tailored support

* Monitor and report on pupil progress

* Contribute to a positive, inclusive and safe learning environment

* Promote and support positive behaviour strategies across the classroom

Requirements:

* Teaching Assistant qualification (Level 1, 2 or
3) is preferred but not essential.

* Previous experience working with primary aged children (ideally in a school setting)

* Confidence supporting pupils with a range of learning needs

* Strong communication and teamwork skills

* Ability to build positive relationships with pupils and staff

* Enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to get one)
