What you'll be doing:

Compliance with all Health and Safety policies and procedures.

Compliance with all Veolia policies and  fully aware of all VCHP safety rules.

Have a full driving licence to visit customer sites for business purposes to carry out CHP servicing and breakdown response, as may be required, using company  conversant with the requirements of engine manufacturers servicing  skilled in the use of electrical drawings and OEM software packages.

Assist Customer Account Manager and Team Leaders on all aspects of CHP maintenance and in depth fault finding as requested.

Undertake any other duties associated with CHP plant and general areas as directed by the Customer Account Manager.

To provide ‘hands on’ advanced Electrical training to Service Engineers when required

To support operational regions with in depth fault finding as and when directed by the Operations Manager To provide technical assistance with internal/external failure reports and contribute to ‘Lessons Learnt’.To carry out and support diagnostics through remote desktop software

Specify critical and spare parts to be held within the region to support first fix.

Contribution to technical workshops and workflow sessions to drive continuous improvement

What we're looking for:

Have qualifications and/or experience on engine maintenance and the ability and desire to be trained by an engine manufacturer if required

Have sound knowledge in engineering practices and be conversant with the operation of a CHP plant

Gas Safe Accredited Undertake weekend roster duties as required by management.

HNC or Equivalent in an Electrical Engineering Discipline In depth knowledge of CHP control systems and PLC’s and to be fully conversant with Fuel mapping procedures on MTU, MAN and 2g units.
