CPCS​/NPORS Plant & Vehicle Marshaller; LANTRA

Overview

Teamforce Labour is seeking an experienced Plant & Vehicle Marshaller for a long-term infrastructure project in Rossendale, Greater Manchester (BB4). This position requires compulsory LANTRA Traffic Management training and focuses on working on the public highway.

• Safely marshal plant machinery and site vehicles operating on and around the public highway.
• Direct and control vehicle movements to ensure the safety of operatives, pedestrians, and members of the public.
• Maintain safe segregation between plant, vehicles, and pedestrians.
• Communicate effectively with plant operators, delivery drivers, and site management.
• Monitor site access points and traffic management routes.
• Coordinate deliveries and vehicle movements to minimise disruption.
• Carry out visual safety checks and report any hazards or unsafe practices.
• Ensure all works are carried out in accordance with site health & safety procedures and highway regulations.

• Valid CPCS or NPORS (CSCS Logo) Plant & Vehicle Marshal qualification.
• LANTRA Traffic Management qualification – Essential.
• Previous experience working as a Plant & Vehicle Marshaller on busy construction or civil engineering projects.
• Experience working on the public highway is highly desirable.
• Good understanding of construction site safety procedures and traffic management.
• Strong communication and organisational skills.
• Full PPE.
