Overview
Community Payback Supervisor – operate and supervise work groups of offenders carrying out unpaid community work, drive service vehicles, and ensure tasks are performed to standard.
Key responsibilities- Supervise and motivate small teams of offenders during community payback placement.
- Ensure tasks such as clearing overgrowth, restoring community facilities, planting trees, litter picking and graffiti removal are completed to standard.
- Maintain a safe working environment and manage any incidents.
- Drive service vehicles as required.
Working pattern includes frequent weekend days and occasional evenings; paid 50% higher rate for weekend work.
Standard full‑time hours are 37 hours per week (excluding unpaid breaks). Flexible part‑time, flexible and job‑sharing arrangements may be considered.
Requirements- Full UK manual driving licence (automatic licence not acceptable).
- Right to work in the UK.
- Willingness to work weekends and occasional evenings.
Annual leave of 25 days (up to 30 days after 5 years of service); public holidays.
