Part Time Day Care Assistant

Location: Ashton Manor Care Home, Lancaster, Lancashire

Salary: £12.60 per hour and overtime paid at £14.10 per hour

Hours: Part‑time, 8am‑2pm shifts on a two‑week rolling rota:

• Week 1:
  Monday, Tuesday, Saturday, Sunday
• Week 2:
  Wednesday, Thursday, Friday

Evermore Care is seeking a compassionate Care Assistant to join the team at Ashton Manor, a state‑of‑the‑art care home in Lancaster. As a permanent part‑time member of staff working 8am until 2pm, you will deliver high‑quality, person‑centred care to elderly residents in a modern and innovative environment. This role offers the opportunity to make a real difference in residents’ lives while working as part of a supportive and dedicated team.

• Provide exceptional personal care, including washing, dressing, eating, and toileting.
• Assist with light housekeeping tasks, such as dusting, vacuuming, and changing bed linens.
• Build strong rapport with residents, staff, and families while maintaining patient confidentiality.
• Collaborate seamlessly within the multidisciplinary team to ensure residents receive the highest standard of care.

• Previous experience (personal or work‑based) within adult social care
• Ability to build positive relationships with residents and the wider team
• Strong understanding of patient confidentiality
