About

The Role

We are looking for a friendly and engaging Team Leader to join a dedicated team supporting Natalie
, a woman with autism and bipolar disorder, in her own home in the Lancaster area. Support includes 2:1 during the day and 1:1 with sleep‑in nights, with the team working closely together in ways that are fully guided by her individual needs.

Natalie has a vibrant personality and loves singing, crafts, baking, cooking, trips to the theatre, shopping days out, walks, and a good chat over coffee. We’re looking for someone sociable, encouraging, and creative—someone who can help her stay active, enjoy the things she loves, and let her creativity flourish. The ideal candidate will understand the importance of trust and relationships, be a great listener, and be open to doing things differently to make a real difference every day.

This role requires empathy, compassion, resilience, problem‑solving skills, respect for professional boundaries, and a commitment to improving the lives of people we support. Most importantly, a genuine passion for working with and supporting people is essential, along with a desire to be an advocate for individuals with learning difficulties and mental health support needs.

You will empower Natalie to develop life skills, make informed decisions, and build confidence in her independence. This includes support with budgeting, promoting self‑care, and serving as a trusted advocate for her needs and aspirations.
