Day Care Assistant

Location: Ashton Manor Care Home, Lancaster, Lancashire

Salary: £13.45 per hour with overtime at £14.95 per hour

Hours: Full-time, 38.5 hours a week, 8am-8pm shifts on a two-week rolling rota

• Week 1:
  Monday, Tuesday, Saturday, Sunday

Right to Work: Must have Right to Work in the UK for a minimum of 18 months from the agreed start date. No visa sponsorship.

Evermore Care is seeking compassionate Day Care Assistants to join the team at Ashton Manor
, our state‑of‑the‑art care home in Lancaster. You will play a crucial role in delivering high‑quality, person‑centred care to elderly residents in a modern and innovative environment. This role offers the opportunity to make a real difference in residents' lives while working as part of a supportive and dedicated team.

• Annual leave starts at the statutory minimum, with extra days rewarded at 2 and 5 years’ service

• Provide exceptional personal care, including washing, dressing, eating, and toileting.
• Assist with light housekeeping tasks, such as dusting, vacuuming, and changing bed linens.
• Build strong rapport with residents, staff, and families while maintaining patient confidentiality.
• Collaborate seamlessly within the multidisciplinary team to ensure residents receive the highest standard of care.

• Previous experience working in dementia or residential care settings.
• Ability to build positive relationships with residents and the wider team.
• Strong understanding of patient confidentiality.
