Support Worker:

Pay: £13.66 per hour

Hours:

Bank contract
- You must be available to work a mixture of days and wake night shifts

Day shifts:

Monday
- Friday 7:00am - 20:00pm, Saturday
- Sunday 8:00am - 20:00pmWaking Night shifts:
Sunday
- Thursday 20:00pm - 8:00am, Friday
- Saturday 20:00pm - 9:00amWe are looking for dedicated female Support Workers to provide one-to-one care for a young person with complex needs. The individual is non-verbal, so you will need to be attentive to their eye contact, facial expressions, and other non-verbal cues to understand their needs and preferences. They have a unique living arrangement, spending alternate weeks between their mother's home in Lancaster and their father's  this role, you will be responsible for delivering personal care, including PEG feeding, nutrition, hydration, and medication administration.

You will also monitor and record vital signs such as blood pressure, temperature, and oxygen levels, manage seizures and administer buccal medication when required, and support the use of CPAP equipment overnight

Experience and Skills of a Support Worker:

Experiencesupportingindividuals with complex needs is desirable.

A full UK driving licence is essential.

You must be acompassionate, reliable person who iscommittedto delivering person‑centred care.

You should be comfortable working a variety of shifts, including days and nights, and able to travel between both family homes.

Experiencesupportingindividuals with a range of communication impairments is required.

Empathy, patience, and a genuinecommitmentto enhancing an individual’s quality of life are essential qualities for this role.
