Overview

A fantastic opportunity has opened up to join an award-winning, independent Insurance Broker as an Account Handler within their specialist scheme team. Based just outside Bolton, this is a fast-paced and varied role that would suit someone who thrives on building client relationships and delivering excellent service.

You’ll take ownership of your own book, managing the full insurance cycle - from new business to renewals and mid-term adjustments. The role also includes an element of underwriting, using your judgment within a delegated authority. It’s a brilliant chance to join a tight-knit, supportive team where your work makes a real impact.

• Manage and grow relationships with new and existing scheme clients.
• Handle all aspects of the insurance process including new business, renewals, MTAs, and queries.
• Underwrite risks within delegated authority levels.
• Provide clear, expert advice to clients, helping them understand what cover they need and why.
• Deliver consistently high levels of service and communication.

• Proven Account Handler experience in the commercial insurance sector.
• Great attention to detail and solid technical knowledge.
• Confident communication skills - both written and verbal.
• A positive attitude and willingness to learn.
