Night Supervisor

Essential Requirements

* Previous experience within homelessness or supported living services

* Experience working waking nights

* Strong understanding of safeguarding and risk management

* Knowledge of housing support, budgeting and tenancy sustainment

* Confident with compliance, audits and documentation

* Ability to lead shifts and manage rotas

* Full right to work in the UK

The Role
We are supporting a homelessness service in Lancaster recruiting a Night Supervisor to oversee the safe and effective running of the service during waking night shifts.

This is a leadership position where you will take responsibility for the building, the residents and compliance standards overnight.

Duties include:

* Overseeing the safety and wellbeing of residents

* Completing building checks and health and safety audits

* Managing incidents and ensuring safeguarding procedures are followed

* Supporting residents with budgeting, housing issues and tenancy sustainment

* Ensuring accurate record keeping and compliance documentation

* Leading the night team and overseeing shift rotas

* Liaising with day staff to ensure smooth handovers

This is a hands on role suited to someone confident working autonomously and capable of making sound decisions overnight.
