The ideal person for this role would have previous kitchen experience but this is not desirable and full training will be provided. As a Kitchen Assistant, it is essential you have good communication skills and can work well within a team and individually. The role would suit someone who has the ability to prioritise tasks, has a flexible approach and is energetic and hard working.
It is also important that you have good time management, great record keeping and organisational skills.
A Level 2 Food Hygiene Certificate is desirable, or you will be willing to undertake the relevant training to gain this qualification.
