Looking for a fast-paced frontline role where you can make an immediate impact? We're recruiting an experienced Social Worker to join a Duty & Assessment Team within Lancashire County Council, based in Lancaster.

The Role

- Key Responsibilities

Complete Child & Family (C&A) Assessments
Undertake safeguarding investigations
Develop and implement child-focused plans
Work across referrals, initial assessments, and short-term intervention
Liaise with multi-agency partners to ensure coordinated responses
Maintain accurate and timely case records

What we're looking for

Qualified Social Worker
Experience with in Duty & Assessment / Safeguarding / CP teams
Strong assessment and decision-making skills
Confident managing fast-paced caseloads
Excellent communication and organisational ability
