We're currently recruiting on behalf of one of our valued clients for a Complex Needs Support Worker based in Lancaster.
This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who's passionate about making a genuine difference to people's lives. You'll be supporting adults with complex needs, helping them to build confidence, develop independence and move towards a more positive future.

The Role
As a Complex Needs Support Worker, you'll work closely with individuals who may have experienced homelessness, mental health challenges, substance misuse or other complex life circumstances.

Your role will include:
 
* Providing person-centred, trauma-informed support.
 
* Managing a caseload and carrying out support plans and risk assessments.
 
* Supporting individuals to access housing, healthcare, benefits and community services.
 
* Encouraging independence and helping people achieve their personal goals.
 
* Building positive relationships while maintaining professional boundaries.
 
* Working alongside external agencies and partner organisations to ensure the best outcomes for each individual.
 
* Maintaining accurate records and ensuring safeguarding procedures are followed at all times.
What We're Looking For
We're looking for someone who is compassionate, resilient and genuinely enjoys supporting others.
Ideally you'll have:
 
* Previous experience within supported housing, homelessness, mental health or another support setting.
 
* Experience completing support plans, assessments and risk assessments.
 
* An understanding of safeguarding and professional boundaries.
 
* Knowledge of complex needs including mental health, substance misuse, offending behaviour or homelessness.
 
* Excellent communication and organisational skills.
 
* The ability to remain calm and adaptable in challenging situations.
