Software Engineer (Object‑Oriented Programming)
Location: Lancaster, Lancashire

RoleBuilding and integrating computer vision algorithms; integrating sensors and IoT devices; supporting junior and graduate team members; autonomous leadership of complex projects; flexible working with home Fridays.
Responsibilities- Develop computer vision algorithms from scratch for defense sector applications.
- Integrate sensors and IoT devices into system solutions.
- Support and mentor junior/graduate engineering staff.
- Lead complex projects with significant decision‑making authority.
- Collaborate across mechanical, hardware, electronics, and product teams.
- Software Engineer with background in Object‑Oriented Programming.
- Proficiency in Python, Type Script, Vue, C++ (or related language).
- Experience in developing complex software; experience with computer vision and IoT desirable.
- Strong teamwork and communication skills.
Right on the doorstep of the Lake District and Yorkshire Dales.
