The Accounts Receivable Analyst III is responsible for all billing, collections, and account reconciliation for any and all assigned accounts. Additionally, the Accounts Receivable Analyst III will adhere to all billing and collections guidelines, in order to ensure all policy, procedures, internal controls, and process flows are being followed. This position will be held responsible for resolvinghigh dollar, difficult accounts, as well as coordinating with hospitals to submit appeals on claims.

Position requires review ofdenials, Workers Compensation account follow up and resolution, high dollar Aged Trial Balance (ATB) analysis as well as reviewing rebilling requests and patient account activity. The Accounts Receivable Analyst III will determine the root cause ofnonpayment, document with recommendations for resolution, and report findings to management team. The Accounts Receivable Analyst III will participate in Team Works interdisciplinary call preparation with emphasis on the Action Item Log documentation and serve as call leader.

The Accounts Receivable Analyst III may also perform as a liaison with the outside collection agencies/attorneys in resolving difficult accounts.

• Bachelor’s degree in Business (Accounting, Finance, or Economics preferred)
• Working knowledge of excel

• Previous internship or work experience in healthcare, revenue cycle, or AR
• Excel proficiency and data reconciliation skills
