Role Overview :
Under general supervision, performs diagnostic CT exams and related imaging procedures. Verifies patient identity, reviews medical records, interviews patients for history and risk factors, explains procedures, sets up equipment, acquires images, and communicates observations to radiologists. Provides post-care instructions and participates in quality improvement and educational activities. May perform duties of Radiologic Technologist as needed. Call/standby may be required. Certifications:
ARRT CT & Radiology (attach), BLS (AHA) (attach)
Experience:
2+ years recent CT & Radiology experience; must be able to work independently Equipment:
Familiarity with GE CT & X-ray machines Submission:
