Registered Nurse PACU -

Pre Operative, Post Operative and PACU registered nurse:
The registered nurse is responsible for managing the care preoperative, post anesthesia and postoperative in the perioperative department. The registered nurse will implement nursing interventions as necessary for the patient needs. The registered nurse will individualize the care, education and discharge planning in response to the patient needs. The registered nurse will complete surgical safety checklist, handoff communication, preoperative and follow up telephone calls.

The registered nurse will maintain competency in perioperative nursing.

• The registered nurse will maintain competency in perioperative nursing.

• Current RN License in the State of Wyoming
• Current BLS certification
• ACLS certification within 90 days of hire
• PALS certification within 90 days of hire
• 2+ years Infusion experience preferred for identified role
• 2+ years Circulator or PACU experience preferred for identified role
• 3-5 years of PACU nursing experience preferred
