RN ER

The Emergency Department RN provides professional nursing care in accordance with established policies, procedures, and protocols of Sage West Health Care to the patients admitted to the Emergency Department and throughout the facility as necessary. The RN assesses and documents various clinical conditions and vital signs of the patient. The RN administers prescribed medications and records changes and responses of the patient.

The Emergency Department RN will maintain skills and knowledge of various medical devices including, but not limited to, cardiac monitors, vital signs machines, defibrillators, IV pumps, rapid infusers, Bair Huggers, and patient gurneys. The RN will assist physicians in various medical procedures as necessary.

• Current RN License in the State of Wyoming
• Current BLS Certification through American Heart Association
• Current ACLS or obtain within 90 days of hire
• Current PALS or obtain within 90 days of hire
• Current TNCC or obtain within 6 months of hire
• 2+ years of Emergency Room experience preferred
