Sage West - Behavioral health nurses provide direct and individualized nursing care to patients based on the application of evidenced based nursing practice guidelines. In addition to basic nursing care, responsibilities of behavioral health nurses include (but not limited to): completes physical and mental health assessments, develops care plans for the patients, helping them be as independent as possible, administers and monitors treatment regiments, administers prescribed medications under the supervision of qualified medical staff, observes and reports behavioral changes, helps patients improve their coping abilities and meet goals, records all care information concisely, accurately and completely, in a timely manner, in the appropriate format and on the appropriate forms, performs other position-related duties as assigned, depending on the assignment setting, direct care provided by the licensed practical nurses and nursing aides, and float amount various clinical services, where qualified and competent.
Qualifications- Current RN License in the State of Wyoming
- Current BLS certification through American Heart Association
