Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Med/Surg days position requiring a WY or compact license and at least two years of recent specialty experience.

• Work in a hospital Med/Surg unit
• Day shift position with hours from 07:00 to 19:00
• Assignment length is 13 weeks
• Staff are required to clock in and out using the electronic timekeeping system
• Travelers must not let any required certifications expire within the first 30 days of the assignment
• PALS certification is required for all Med/Surg positions at this facility
• Travelers are required to float within a 25-mile radius if needed
• Local candidates are accepted but are compensated at a lower rate
• Must be fully resigned from any Health Trust HR System position prior to assignment

• Active WY or compact RN license required
• Minimum of 2 years recent Med/Surg RN experience
• Current BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications required (no pending, RQI, or RCIS certifications accepted)
• No gaps in work history of 90 days or more within the past 12 months
• Must provide full US Social Security Number and date of birth for consideration
• Cannot be currently employed in a permanent position with any location while working as a traveler for this assignment
• Must reside at least 50 miles from the facility unless noted otherwise
