• Assists with all operations and processes of the Warehouse, including shipping, receiving, ordering and distributing merchandise.
• Compiles and provides all shipping and receiving documents to the Accounting department for payment of invoices.
• Reviews, fills and distributes supply orders to all buildings on campus on a daily or as‑needed basis.
• Handles and moves all equipment and furnishings for residents and staff.
• Performs quarterly physical inventory of Warehouse items.
• Responsible for completing and maintaining fixed asset inventories for all campus buildings; compiles state inventory of fixed assets, numbers equipment and tracks locations.
• Evaluates and performs necessary procedures for equipment and fixed asset disposal.
• Provides leadership for Warehouse staff and resident workers.
• Coordinates the storage of residents’ personal items; maintains an inventory, secures items, obtains approval for disposal of obsolete items and tracks disposal.
• Maintains frequent contact with vendors to reconcile discrepancies, shortages and shipping delays.
• Ensures inspection and OSHA safety requirements for the Warehouse and delivery processes are met.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

• Associate’s degree (typically in Finance).
• 0–1 year of progressive work experience in Purchasing or Inventory, equivalent to a Shipping and Receiving Clerk I.

  • 2–4 years of progressive work experience in Purchasing or Inventory, equivalent to a Shipping and Receiving Clerk I.

• One or more years of experience in shipping, receiving, or Warehouse operations.
