Be a pivotal part of Camp STEAM as a Camper Behaviour Support expert! Focus on enhancing camper well-being and guiding youth through technological engagement while maintaining a fun environment.
This full-time position is an incredible opportunity to make a difference in the lives of children at Camp STEAM. Your responsibilities will involve monitoring behaviour, implementing strategies to support campers, and fostering creativity through STEAM activities. Mentoring behaviour management skills and providing coaching to staff is also a key component of this role.
Key Responsibilities:
• Monitor campers and group dynamics effectively
• Implement behavioural strategies and coaching techniques
• Mentoring Counsellors and staff on STEAM skills
• Facilitate engaging STEM activities during pick-up/drop-off
• Serve as the head office contact for incidents
Requirements:
• Proven experience in managing behaviour
• Valid Standard First Aid with CPR-C certificate
• Strong knowledge of STEAM topics
• Creative and collaborative mindset
• Excellent organizational and communication skills
Drive positive camper interactions and inspire creativity in children through technology at Camp STEAM.
