Support patient-focused care at Pharmasave in Sooke, BC, using prescription processing, medication packaging, and attentive customer service. This full-time position supports pharmacists and pharmacy technicians.
Neighbourly Pharmacy seeks a Pharmacy Assistant for its Pharmasave location. You will greet customers, answer calls, enter prescriptions, and package medications under supervision. Inventory management, clerical work, insurance claims, and prescription transfers are also part of daily pharmacy operations.
Key Responsibilities:
Support pharmacists and technicians with high-quality patient care
Greet customers and answer telephone calls professionally
Enter, label, count, measure, and package prescriptions
Receive shipments, rotate stock, and monitor inventory levels
Complete filing, faxing, scanning, claims, and transfers
Requirements:
Pharmacy assistant program completion preferred
Previous pharmacy experience considered an asset
Strong communication, organization, and attention to detail
Basic Microsoft Office and Kroll proficiency
Availability for flexible evenings, weekends, and holidays
Bring careful prescription handling, organization, and patient service to the Pharmasave pharmacy team in Sooke, British Columbia.
