• Maintain Self‑Checkout Area Standards – Maintain a clean, safe, and organized self‑checkout area, ensuring it remains free of fixtures, unnecessary debris, foreign objects, and spills.
• Promote Walmart Programs and Initiatives – Support the promotion of company‑sponsored programs, including credit card services, product protection plans, and charitable initiatives, when applicable.
• Support Customers at Self‑Checkout – Help customers use self‑checkout quickly and confidently by offering assistance when needed, monitoring activity, and completing required checks. Clearly explain any interventions in a friendly, reassuring way and escalates cash or technical issues to the Customer Service Manager.
• Respond to EAS Alerts and Complete Documentation – Respond to EAS alarms in accordance with procedures and accurately complete the “Failure to Deactivate” log.
• Manage Scan & Go Equipment – Ensure Scan & Go scanners are returned to their designated storage locations after use.
• Flexibility (Availability/Work Schedule) – Be open to working a variety of shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, based on business needs. Adaptability helps ensure the store runs smoothly and customers receive consistent, high‑quality service.
• High Task Volume in a Fast‑Paced Environment – Manage overnight hours effectively and plan accordingly to stay energized and focused. Handle fast‑paced workloads with efficiency, ensuring large volumes of restocking and recovery are completed accurately and on time.
• Physical Demands – Perform physical tasks such as standing for extended periods, bending, and lifting inventory, equipment, or supplies weighing up to 20 lbs. and occasionally up to 50 lbs. Perform repetitive tasks such as stocking, zoning, and organizing products with attention to detail and consistency to uphold store standards.

The minimum rate of pay for this position starts from $18.40.
