JTBC Construction Ltd. Tile setter

· Terms of employment:
Full-time, Permanent

· Wage: $34.00 – $37.00 hour (depending on experience)

· Number of Positions: 1

Job Duties:

· Prepare, measure, and mark surfaces for tile installation

· Build underbeds and install anchor bolts, cables, and brackets

· Mix and apply mortar, cement, mastic, glue, or other adhesives using hand tools such as a trowel

· Cut and fit tiles around fixtures and openings using hand and power cutting tools

· Position tiles and apply pressure to secure them in place

· Install tile edging strips as needed

· Cut, polish, and install marble and granite surfaces

· Apply grout between tiles and remove excess grout to finish joints

· Remove and replace broken or damaged tiles

· Lay mosaic tiles to create decorative wall and floor patterns; mix and polish terra surfaces

· May prepare material orders and estimate project costs and supervise other workers

3~5 years of experience in related field is required

Education:

Completion of secondary school is required
