Part-time Shipping/Staging Associate (Victoria)

Fresh Prep is looking to hire highly motivated and friendly Staging and Production Associates to join the Victoria team. Our Stagers unload trucks and then organize cooler bags of food into routes on racks for the driving team. We deliver cooler bags of fresh, prepped ingredients directly to our customers’ homes. Starting from our warehouse in Langford, BC, you will be assisting the warehouse team in arranging delivery freight onto racks.

This is an Independent Contractor position that requires the use of your own steel-toed footwear. Compensation is paid every week through direct deposit. Staging shifts are typical 6-8 hours in length.

Our Staging Team is paid hourly. It’s a great way to get some experience in a logistics and warehouse setting. Although previous experience is not necessary, we do encourage applicants with warehousing experience to apply.

• Unload trucks and organize cooler bags of food into routes on racks for the driving team.
• Assist the warehouse team in arranging delivery freight onto racks.
• Support staging operations to prepare orders for delivery from the Langford warehouse.
• Be available for Sundays, Mondays and Wednesdays in Victoria, BC (as schedule allows).

• Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment
• Work well under pressure and meet tight deadlines
• Ability to work under limited supervision
• Ability to work independently
• Commitment to a safe, respectful, and professional workplace environment among a diverse team
• Pallet/power jack experience useful but not required

• Ability to lift up to ~30 lbs.
• Ability to pass a background check
• Must be legally authorized to work in Canada
• A positive, friendly attitude

• Comfortable working in a cold warehouse environment with appropriate safety vest and toe caps
