THE ROLE
We are currently partnering with a well-established and highly respected organization in the agriculture and manufacturing sector to recruit a Senior Accountant to join their team in Langley, BC. This is an excellent Senior Accountant opportunity for an experienced accounting professional seeking a stable, long-term career opportunity within a collaborative and supportive environment.
This is a hands‑on Senior Accountant position focused on overseeing the full‑cycle Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable functions while supporting broader accounting operations and month‑end activities. The successful candidate will play a key role in maintaining accurate financial records, improving processes, and supporting the ongoing success of the accounting team.

RESPONSIBILITIES
Oversee full‑cycle Accounts Payable, including invoice review, coding, approvals, and payment processing
Manage vendor relationships and ensure timely and accurate payments
Reconcile vendor statements and resolve discrepancies
Manage full‑cycle Accounts Receivable, including invoicing, collections, and cash applications
Monitor AR aging and follow up on overdue accounts
Reconcile customer accounts and resolve billing discrepancies
Assist with month‑end and year‑end close processes, including journal entries and reconciliations
Support financial audits by preparing schedules and supporting documentation
Maintain strong internal controls and ensure compliance with accounting policies
Identify opportunities for process improvements and operational efficiencies
Provide mentorship and support to junior team members as needed
SKILLS & EXPERIENCE
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
5+ years of progressive accounting experience with strong exposure to both AP and AR
Strong understanding of accounting principles and internal controls
Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
Strong communication and problem‑solving abilities
Experience in process improvements or system implementations is considered an asset
Leadership or mentoring experience is considered an asset
