Position: Finance Specialist with CPA
Pursue an exciting 20-month contract as a Finance Specialist in Langley, needing a designated CPA and four-plus years of accounting expertise. This maternity leave position offers a hybrid work schedule.

Your role involves reporting directly to the controller, where you'll manage the full general ledger and oversee journal entry preparation for all financial periods. This includes handling payroll, accounts receivable, and maintaining compliance forms and remittances. Additionally, you will assist with audits and contribute to budgeting processes over the contract duration.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee full general ledger and journal entries

• Manage invoicing and accounts receivable activities

• Process payroll for staff and board members

• Conduct monthly bank reconciliations and review schedules

• Support audits with necessary working papers

Requirements:

• Designated CPA is essential

• Minimum 4 years' accounting experience needed

• Proven expertise in GL reconciliations

• Familiarity with Microsoft Business Central preferred

• Strong knowledge of payroll and regulatory compliance
