Tax Manager Canadian Tax Advisory

Lead Canadian tax engagements remotely with MNP, applying tax expertise, client leadership, and strategic advisory skills from Maple Ridge.

As a Tax Manager, you will guide client-facing engagement teams and deliver customized tax strategies. The work combines Canadian Tax knowledge, business understanding, accounting principles, and relationship building. You will support compliance, reporting, risk reduction, efficiency, and returns for clients within a complex regulatory framework.

• Lead multiple client-facing tax engagement teams
• Develop proactive tax strategies and advise on policy changes
• Liaise with the Canada Revenue Agency and provincial ministries
• Manage client portfolios, relationships, and engagement financials
• Mentor, motivate, and coach team members

• Complete Level 1 of the In-depth Tax Program
• Four to five years of public accounting or tax consulting experience
• Extensive working knowledge of Canadian Tax
• Strong business, accounting, management, and practice development understanding
• Proven people management, leadership, and relationship-building skills
