We are looking for a highly organized and detail-oriented Office Assistant to join our Head Office team and support our Controller with a variety of accounting and administrative functions.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys working with numbers, thrives in a fast-paced environment, and takes pride in keeping things accurate and organized.
Job Description
Assist with Accounts Receivable (AR) and Accounts Payable (AP) processing
Perform data entry and maintain accurate records
Support daily accounting and bookkeeping functions using Quick Books Online
Reconcile invoices, statements, and supporting documentation
Assist with filing, record management, and administrative projects
Prepare reports and spreadsheets using Microsoft Excel
Create and edit documents using Microsoft Word
Provide general administrative support to the Controller and Head Office team
Help ensure financial information is entered accurately and on time
Qualifications
Previous office administration or accounting experience
Experience working with Quick Books Online
Strong data entry skills with a high degree of accuracy
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Word
Excellent organizational and time management skills
Strong attention to detail
Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information
Self‑motivated with the ability to work independently
Positive attitude and willingness to support the team wherever needed
Preferred Qualifications
Accounting, bookkeeping, or business administration education is considered an asset
Experience with Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable processes
Experience working in a multi‑location retail or wholesale environment is an asset
Additional Information
Compensation for this position will range depending upon skills, abilities and relevant knowledge or experience.
