Shop Assistant

At Super Tech Auto, we pride ourselves on delivering honest, high-quality automotive service with a strong focus on customer experience. We're growing quickly and looking for a reliable, positive, and team-oriented Shop Assistant to support our daily operations and keep our shop running smoothly.

This is a hands-on, fast-paced role that combines customer service, driving, and shop support. You'll be the face of our business for many customers while also helping maintain a clean, safe, and organized shop environment.

Duties Include:

• Provide safe, friendly, and punctual shuttle service for customers
• Assist customers with loading/unloading personal items
• Maintain a clean, fueled, and well-maintained shuttle vehicle
• Perform daily vehicle checks (fuel, cleanliness, basic condition)
• Follow all traffic laws and maintain a clean driving record
• Represent Super Tech Auto professionally during all interactions

• Keep shop bays, floors, waiting area, and restrooms clean and organized
• Dispose of waste, parts, and recyclables properly
• Restock shop and customer area supplies as needed
• Complete daily cleaning checklists
• Identify and report maintenance or safety concerns

• Retrieve tools, parts, and supplies for technicians
• Help organize and maintain inventory
• Safely move vehicles around the shop and parking lot
• Complete assigned tasks efficiently and on time

• Follow all safety procedures and wear PPE as required
• Keep work areas hazard-free and clean throughout the day
• Clean spills and remove hazards immediately
• Use equipment and tools properly
• Participate in safety meetings and maintain shop standards

• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
• Comfortable driving a variety of vehicles
• Strong customer service and communication skills
• Reliable, punctual, and detail-oriented
• Team player with a positive attitude
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Previous shop or automotive experience is an asset (but not required)
