Join The Universal Group as a Lane Closure Technician, ensuring safety across traffic control setups. This role includes traffic monitoring, compliance, and guiding teams in the lower mainland.
The Universal Group seeks a dedicated Lane Closure Technician to contribute to our Traffic Control team. You'll be vital in protecting road workers and the public while managing traffic control at various sites. Key responsibilities include setting up zones, ensuring compliance with safety regulations, and reporting directly to site supervisors.
Key Responsibilities:
• Lead Traffic Control persons in setting up zones
• Monitor and adapt traffic control measures as needed
• Conduct incident investigations and complete reports
• Communicate safety matters to site supervisors
• Utilize personal protective equipment as required
Requirements:
• Minimum 6 months of BC LCT experience
• Valid TCP certification recognized by WorkSafeBC
• Clean driver’s license required
• Strong knowledge of WorkSafeBC Regulations
• Ability to adapt and manage conflicts on-site
