Roofing Estimator

Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Roofing Estimator to join our construction team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for accurately assessing project needs, preparing detailed cost estimates, and supporting project bids from inception to completion. The Roofing Estimator will collaborate closely with project managers, clients, and subcontractors to ensure precise pricing and successful project execution.

• Review project plans, specifications, and blueprints to develop comprehensive roofing estimates.
• Prepare detailed proposals including material costs, labor, equipment, and subcontractor quotes.
• Conduct site visits to assess project scope and gather necessary data for accurate estimation.
• Negotiate with suppliers and subcontractors to secure competitive pricing while maintaining quality standards.
• Collaborate with project management teams to develop project timelines, budgets, and resource allocations.
• Assist in the development of project schedules and manage changes in scope or costs as needed.
• Maintain organized records of all estimates, proposals, and related documentation for future reference.

• Proven experience in construction estimating, preferably within roofing or related trades.
• Robust knowledge of construction processes, materials, and pricing strategies.
• Excellent negotiation skills to secure favorable terms with suppliers and subcontractors.
• Ability to interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and specifications accurately.
• Effective project management skills with attention to detail and organizational abilities.
• Strong communication skills for collaborating with clients, vendors, and internal teams.
• Knowledge of roofing materials, techniques, and industry standards is highly desirable.
