Grow your career at Hall Constructors as an Estimator. This role requires expertise in estimating for civil infrastructure and interaction with clients and project teams in Lower Mainland, BC.
As an Estimator reporting to the Chief Estimator, you will prepare and submit accurate estimates for various civil projects, contributing to Hall Constructors' successful bidding process. Your day will include reviewing project documents, developing methodology, and collaborating across teams to ensure cost-effective, precise bids.
Key Responsibilities:
• Prepare accurate and timely estimates according to Hall's procedures
• Review drawings, specifications, and contract conditions thoroughly
• Manage assigned estimates and delegate tasks to project teams
• Solicit and evaluate quotes from subcontractors and suppliers
• Attend site visits and maintain organized bid documentation
Requirements:
• Minimum 3 years of construction estimating experience
• Post-secondary education in civil engineering or a related field
• Valid BC Class 5 Driver’s license
• Proficient in HCSS Heavy Bid and Bluebeam Revu
• Strong communication skills and attention to detail
