Role & Responsibilities
Direct customers to the correct department or personnel, notify the appropriate Product/Service Advisor that a customer is waiting, or introduce the customers to an advisor.
Answer basic customer inquiries and refer more extensive inquiries to the appropriate person.
Handle telephone calls in a professional, friendly and efficient manner, striving to minimize the time customers spend on hold.
Take thorough messages, noting the caller’s name, company name if applicable, time and reason for the call, and ensure the message reaches the appropriate party.
Perform clerical and accounting duties as assigned by Management.
Add and update customer information in CRMs.
Stay up to date on procedural changes for each dealership.
Provide the highest level of customer service to ensure satisfaction and retention.
Follow company safety policies and practices, and immediately report any accidents to a Manager/Supervisor.
Performs other duties as assigned by management and understands that the company reserves the right to modify this job description as business needs require.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
Ability to be versatile in changing priorities and to multitask.
Professional personal appearance.
Strong customer relations skills and the ability to work well with internal and external customers.
Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills over the phone and in person.
Ability to work with all work teams and all department levels.
Organized and detail oriented.
Demonstrated computer skills – MS Word and Excel.
Ability to work in an active, social atmosphere without distraction.
Professional and confident attitude with strong time management skills.
A second language is ideal or preferred.
Completed high school education, or equivalent work experience.
