As part of the Recreation, Arts and Culture Division, you will lead and instruct programs like Skating and the Active Beyond the Bell Program. Candidates must possess at least Grade 10 and relevant experience. You’ll engage with participants, assist in planning activities, and ensure the safe use of facilities and equipment.
Key Responsibilities:
• Provide leadership and guidance for recreational programs
• Assist in planning and instructing assigned activities
• Promote participation and ensure safety in program usage
• Prepare records and monitor participant progress
• Perform additional related tasks as needed
Requirements:
• Completion of Grade 10; preference for relevant certifications
• Strong knowledge of program content and activities
• Ability to effectively communicate with participants and staff
• One year of leadership experience preferred
• Emergency First Aid and CPR ‘C’ Certification required
