We are seeking a dedicated Student Support Assistant to join our team at the Vancouver Campus. This role focuses on effectively addressing students' academic, social, and emotional needs. Candidates should possess a Special Education Teacher Assistant Certificate or equivalent training, and experience in behavior management techniques is preferred.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist students with diverse academic needs

• Employ behavior management techniques effectively

• Communicate tactfully with students and staff

• Adapt strategies for various emotional challenges

• Maintain appropriate documentation of student progress

Requirements:

• Grade 12 graduation with relevant certification

• Completion of POPARD training on Autism Spectrum Disorders

• Working knowledge of task analysis techniques

• Basic computer skills and physical ability for duties

• Flexibility to manage various student needs
