Spanish Teacher Position Learning

Become a key player in language education at CHEK ABC, offering engaging Spanish instruction for Grades 8-12. This part-time role begins in September 2026, contributing to a meaningful learning environment.

We are looking for an enthusiastic Spanish Teacher at the Langley Learning Center to inspire middle and high school students. You'll design lessons that encourage student participation and help advance their language proficiency. Maintain a Christ-centred classroom and collaborate with colleagues to ensure student growth.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design interactive Spanish lessons for Grades 8-12

• Enhance students’ reading and speaking skills in Spanish

• Create a respectful and Christ-centred classroom atmosphere

• Provide valuable feedback on student progress

• Participate in meetings for professional development and support

Requirements:

• Hold a valid BC Teaching Certificate or eligibility

• Strong communication skills in Spanish, both spoken and written

• Must be legally authorized to work in Canada

• Experience teaching middle and high school is a plus

• Excellent organizational and classroom management abilities
