Interactive Math & Science Tutor Position

Shape young minds at Oxford Learning Walnut Grove as a part-time Interactive Math and Science Tutor. This role focuses on instilling confidence and academic skills in high school students.

In this position, you will directly engage with students in Grades 9-12. The role does not require lesson planning, as all materials are provided. Working hours are in the evenings, from 3 PM to 7 PM, allowing you to assist students effectively while nurturing their passion for learning in subjects such as Physics, Biology, and Advanced Functions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Instruct up to three high school students at once

• Follow Oxford Learning's established teaching methodologies

• Document student progress after lessons

• Maintain trustful and positive relationships with students

• Assist with daily student communications and updates

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree or related qualification

• Experience with high school math and science tutoring

• Strong communication and organizational skills

• Familiarity with the current curriculum requirements

• Vulnerable sector screening mandatory
