Onsite Electrical Design Engineer

Join Regal Rexnord as an Electrical Design Engineer, working fully onsite in Langley, BC. Lead the design of Automatic Transfer Switches and ensure production-ready design packages.

This role requires a Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering and 2–5 years of design experience. You will analyze specifications, develop schematics, program PLC controllers, and manage product development from concept to production. Strong problem-solving skills and communication abilities are essential for success.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design Automatic Transfer Switches and control panels

• Analyze specifications and related datasheets

• Develop schematics, BOMs, and wiring diagrams

• Program and configure PLC controllers

• Collaborate with sales and production teams on technical challenges

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering or equivalent

• 2–5+ years of relevant design experience

• Proficiency in AutoCAD Classic

• Experience in PLC programming

• Strong written and oral communication skills
